GO Communications has been appointed to handle the Public Relations Communications for the 4th International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta to be held in Kuala Lumpur. The Internationally acclaimed 4th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will be held from March 15-19 in the government capital of Putrajaya and the theme for this year's fiesta is "One World, One Malaysia Fiesta".

GO Comms COO Peter de Kretser said, "it is exciting and an honour to be appointed to promote and publicise a world class event held in Malaysia".  He said, "This is an event for the whole family and an opportunity to experience something rather unique - riding in hot air balloons".

Over twenty countries including the United States, Belgium, Poland, Netherlands, France and Thailand will be taking part in the fiesta. A highlight of the fiesta will be the ‘Night Glow' event where the hot air balloons will take part in a light and sound show at night on March 17, 2012.  The fiesta will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display.

Organisers estimated about 250,000 visitors - both Malaysians and tourists who will attend the fiesta. In addition to the hot air balloon events - other attractions will include a bicycle exhibition and a street touch rugby competition.  There will also be helicopter r ides and a multitude of competitions i.e. painting with exciting prizes to be won.
